FAQ
Does it work? More that 50 projects show that our design and techniques without a doubt works. How can the authorities approve our methods? We have a sound contact with the authorities, and we know the necessary level of documentation, how to analyse the samples, and how to involve the right persons in a specific project. The authorities have never turned down one of our solutions, designs or results. What is the cost? An estimate on the projects costs is very hard to give, but when choosing a specific method an approximate calculation of the cost can be made. After the preliminary analysis has been carried out, a price will be set. This price includes the necessary, excluding extra mandatory analysis during the project. In general is Cleanfield always more cost efficient than the more conventional methods. What is the time frame? The time frame for a project is always dependant on the type contamination, geologi, climate and budget involved. The choice of method itself will give an indication of the time frame, but it is impossible to guarantee a certain time frame because of the biological and dynamic processes involved. Is it harmful? All ingredients are non-harmful. All ingredients are naturally occuring and can be used in a daily household. Neither nature, the environment, or humans can be harmed during the process. Can it be used all year round? If the technical installations have been put into the soil before the cold sets in, the decomposing process is able to work beneath the layers of frosen soil. In the frosen soil the process will decrease, and a fresh batch of bacteria will have to be reinjected in the spring. In warmer areas the process in the soil is active all year. Can I buy the bacteria myself and do the project myself? We don’t sell the bacteria, only complete solutions on specific projects. Experience and know-how is necessary factors to succesfully complete a project. The completion of a project is our responsibility, and we only participate in complete solutions. How do the project start? All projects start out with an inspection of the area, gathering of data and deciding which techniques to use. Following that, a risk assesment is carried out, a time frame, target and cost of the project is decided. From these leads the project will be carried out. How do the project end? The projektet will attain with a report that documents the final results in connection to the target decribed in the project leads. The final report can be used as documentation to the authorities, that the cleanup has succeeded in reaching the desired target.
